Southampton Spelling bee Champion Middle School seventh grader Damian Spirits took the best position in his school’s yearly spelling honey bee on Jan. 19. Following Spirits was 6th grader Matthew Lesta. The pair were two of 37 understudies that contended in the last spelling honey bee round, following homeroom adjusts held before in the week.
